DR. PEPPER BALLPARK
Dr. Pepper Ballpark is the home of the Frisco RoughRiders Class AA minor league baseball club. Located in Frisco, the stadium has a capacity of 10,316. The Ballpark is host to numerous functions in addition to minor league baseball games, including corporate and charity events, wedding receptions, city of Frisco events, and church services. The Ballpark also features 26 luxury suites located on the second level of the ballpark, which features patio balconies from which to view the game and closed-circuit television feeds of the game.
Infinity Sound was contracted to replace the aging sound reinforcement system throughout the facility.
Community R-Series speakers were used for the pole mounted locations. EAW MK 5394-WP, MK 5399-WP were installed on the front edge of the canopy to increase intelligibility to the seating locations. Additionally Klipsch CP-6T speakers were installed for sound distribution to the concourse area. New Ceiling speakers from Atlas were installed in the private suites and throughout the clubs, shopping, and press area locations. We also installed several “DJ” system input locations for flexibility. System Audio Distribution and control was accomplished using QSC Qsys DSP Core products and amplifiers. This system included 100% redundant audio processing for seamless transition should something happen to the main DSP during an event. A new Soundcraft SiC32 32 input mixing console was installed at the operator’s position for control of the microphones and other program source’s audio levels.
